My name is Dušan “lookin” Chmeliar. I am a graphic designer, idea maker, visual creator, and artist based in Prague.

I graduated with a master’s degree from Comenius University, Department of Aesthetics. I operate at the intersection of design and visual thinking, with a focus on how form shapes meaning and how complex ideas can be made clear, readable, and enduring.

My work focuses on creating functional design solutions with well-considered materials and a strong conceptual foundation. I approach design beyond aesthetics, as a tool for structuring ideas and giving them lasting form, often through editorial formats, where books are treated as strategic tools rather than marketing material.

In my projects, I like to bring together copywriters, photographers, illustrators, and other collaborators to make the final design output diverse and complex at the same time.
