A star's light keeps reaching us long after the star itself is gone.

Generation Nika is a Czech NGO that helps teenagers near the Ukrainian front line tell their own stories through film. The project is named after Nika, a young Ukrainian artist who joined the first workshop in 2024. She was killed by a Russian missile before the workshop was finished. Her friends and mentors kept the project going in her name.

The main element of the new logotype is a star. Nika's own sketchbooks were full of hand-drawn stars, and we used them as the starting point for the new identity.

Just like a star's light, her work and voice keep reaching people long after she's gone. What she made and believed in still moves forward, carried by the people around her.

The logotype combines a star mark built from Nika's own drawings with Rublena Black Grotesk, a bold typeface that nods to Ukrainian visual culture. The star isn't fixed, it changes shape across every use, the same way each of Nika's stars was different. The identity works in Czech, English and Ukrainian, and extends across posters, campaigns and film credits.

Before and after result.
